Last night is a happy night to me. Yao Ming firstly winned his first-round seasonaloff game since he joined the Houston Rocket seven years ago. In the TV series, Li Xiaolong, Bruce Lee, also winned the American Karate Compionship. My heart was filled with tears when he cired out that he is a Chinese man in the screen.
Everyone has their own definition of big Hero in their mind. As a Chinese people living here in US, I well know myself that Yao Ming and Lee Xiaolong are the big hero in my mind. Unlike most young generations, Yao has a better understanding of traditional Chinese Culture and set a high merit level to his life. He cherished Chairman Mao and Lu Xun that indicates that he is intelligent and of wisdom. Moreover, he conducts his performance as not only a commercial NBA basketball superstar but also a Chinese social model. He publically told media that what he did should be very careful becuase all of them are peered by the huge Chinese population. In reality, if he had not done that and though himself that way, it is also make sense to this world. But he did and is doing much better. I think it is the high model level of self-esteem that encourages and attempt himself to become better and stronger in NBA. I am so excited that last night he finally demonstrated that he achieved his fullfillment of dream. His team entered the second round in the seasonal match.
